Top AppStore Apps

The AppStore is where all of the "Apple approved" apps go to be downloaded onto your iPhone and other iDevices. Most of the apps on the appstore and good for what they were made for, and alot of them are free. Almost all of the paid Apps have at least a free trial that you can download to try them out. These are called "Lite" versions. That is a very good way to decide if you like an App before you pay for it. Following is a list of the top Apps in the AppStore:

 Facebook is probably one of the most downloaded apps from the AppStore. With the Facebook app you have nearly full access to your Facebook account and the pages of your friends. It has full photo features, full chat experience, you can upload photos, etc.

Angry Birds is a great game available on the Appstore. In Angry Birds, you have a slingshot and you shoot different types of birds against different structures to try and get rid of all of the enemies. For as simple as it sounds, it is a very challenging and frustrating game that requires alot of strategy. But it is fun and addictive.

 Craigsphone will give you full access to Craigslist.com. You can browse all listings on Craigslist, with full ads and photos as well. You can also reply to ads from right inside the app so no need to get out of it and go online to try and find the listing again to respond. This is a great app to have if you are a fan of Craigslist.

Yes, you are looking at that icon correctly. It is Google Earth for the iPhone. You can pull up the app, put in any address or location, and it will take you straight to the satellite image right on your iPhone screen. This is one of my personal favorites. It's slick, fast, and doesn't make your phone lag. Highly recommended app.

iDrivelite is an essential app for the iPhone. One of the main drawbacks to the iPhone is that it will not save your contacts to your SIM card. iDrivelite solves this problem for you. Just register for free and you can back up your contacts right from your iPhone for free. 

Words with Friends is one of the most downloaded apps for the iPhone. With WWF, you get the pleasure of playing a scrabble-type word game with, you guessed it, friends. It is a turn by turn game with huge point multipliers and can get quite intense. It also includes a chat interface in the game.

iHeart Radio. What a great app. It gives access to local and national radio stations right on your iPhone. You can select favorite stations and songs, and the app will find and play more that are similar to your favorites. And, while a song is playing you can switch to Lyrics view and see the song lyrics and it plays. That way you will know all of the words to all of your favorite songs.
